Bacopa: How Long to Work? Study Lengths Compared
Bacopa how long to work is a question the studies answer only in part: trials that met a meta-analysis standard ran at least 12 weeks, and the authors saw possible gains in attention speed (Kongkeaw 2014, Bacopa meta-analys.). How many weeks do bacopa studies run?
At least 12 weeks, in the studies that count. A meta-analysis required trials of 12 weeks or longer of standardized extract (Kongkeaw 2014, Bacopa meta-analys.).
Nine randomized, placebo-controlled studies with 518 participants met that rule, and 437 went into the pooled result. The authors concluded bacopa may improve cognition, especially attention speed, and said a large head-to-head trial is still needed (Kongkeaw 2014, Bacopa meta-analys.).
So the short answer is months, not days. A shop page that promises quick change is not backed by this record.

Read this as a split decision. Memory recall may have moved in some trials, while healthy adults in another saw nothing.
Why can't a study length tell me my own timeline?
Because study products are standardized and yours may not be.
The trials used defined extracts at stated amounts. A capsule with no printed amount cannot be matched to them. LiverTox also notes that bacopa has not been shown effective for any disease in adequately controlled human trials (LiverTox, Bacopa monnieri).
Studies also track groups, not single people. A group average can hide people who noticed nothing.
